Kolkata , March 6

SAMSON Lighting Pvt. Ltd is keen on setting up a hotel-cum-high quality shopping centre on 0.7-acres in the heart of Chennai.

The company has approached the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) to find a suitable hotel chain that can participate in the venture. Considering the location of the plot, the company proposes to convert a portion of the available construction area (about 90,000 sq. ft.) into a high quality shopping mall.

Meanwhile, the FHRAI has received a proposal for a joint venture partnership for an Indian restaurant in Helsinki, Finland. Recouping the entire investment is guaranteed in four years as per the marketing study for the project. The minimum investment should be about 4,00,000 euros.
