Alliances & Joint Ventures Marketing - Channels and Franchises Voltas ties up with Uniflair Our Bureau
MUMBAI: Voltas has announced a distribution tie-up with the 62-million-euro Uniflair of Italy. According to a company press release, Voltas has concluded a standard distributor agreement with Uniflair for distribution of the latter's products in India. Uniflair will offer special entry prices for the subcontinent. Its range of precision air-conditioners will help Voltas extend its product portfolio. Meanwhile, Voltas on Friday launched a new range of ACs under the brand dame `Vertis', which include window, splits, slimline and ductable varieties. A company press release said the new range is priced at Rs 9,900 at the retail point. The new range, which is available in two variants - 0.8-tonne and 0.6-tonne capacities - is designed to cater to cooling of smaller spaces that have so far been cooled by over-capacity machines.
