Our Correspondent

Kottayam , March 12

THE spot rubber market showed a mixed trend on Friday. The re-entry of the covering groups helped the prices of selected grades to recover, while RSS 5 and latex remained unchanged in a rather inactive trading session.

The severe dry weather prevailing in the State has created panic and tappinghas come to a standstill.

The futures market showed a positive trend on Friday. The near-month April delivery was quoted at Rs 56.88 (56.71), May delivery at Rs 58.97 (58.96) and June delivery at Rs 61.09 (60.91) per kg for RSS 4.
