Fidelity hikes stake in Satyam

Hyderabad , March 12

SATYAM Computer Services Ltd has informed the National Stock Exchange (NSE) that they have received intimation from Fidelity Investments regarding acquisition of 2,45,500 equity shares of the company by FMR Corp and its direct and indirect subsidiaries and Fidelity International Ltd (FIL) and its direct and indirect subsidiaries.

Consequently, their total holding of shares in the company has gone up to 1,59,77,400 equity shares, about 5.05 per cent of the paid up equity share capital. While the date of acquisition was February 24, this was from the open market, according to the communiqué.
