Announcements Carrier Refrigeration wins Rs 100-cr export order Our Bureau
New Delhi , April 26 CARRIER Refrigeration Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Carrier India, has won a multi-million-dollar export contract to a key global customer in the beverage and commercial refrigeration market in the US. The total order, worth over Rs 100 crore, will be executed over a two-year period. The company will supply bottle coolers and glass door merchandisers. Carrier, however, refrained from disclosing the customer's identity, stating that severe competition restricted it. According to a company communiqué, these products are manufactured at its facility in Bangalore. Mr Neville Moos, Chairman and Managing Director, Carrier India, said, "This contract is a reflection of the global strength, scale and commitment that Carrier brings to India." The company has successfully completed the initial phase of this order and regular supplies have commenced from the Bangalore facility.
