Public Sector Banks Marketing - Strategy Union Bank ties up with UAE co for money transfer Our Bureau
Kochi , April 30 UNION Bank of India has signed an agreement to facilitate international money transfer services using UAE Exchange Company's `Xpress Money'. UAE Exchange and Financial Services Ltd, which is specialising in money transfers and money exchange across 43 countries in the world, offers the Xpress Money facility. The agreement between the bank and the exchange company was signed at Kochi last Wednesday. Union Bank is the sixth bank in India to tie up with UAE Exchange, a press release issued here has said. The other banks with similar arrangements are Dhanalakshmi Bank, Federal Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, South Indian Bank and IDBI Bank. Money transfer sent by customers from any branch/agent location of the overseas principal of UAE Exchange and Financial Services Ltd across the world can be received at any of the hundred branches or the over three hundred sub-agent locations of UAE Exchange across India instantly.
