Aptech Yuva.Com to launch computer literacy mission

MANGALORE: The Mangalore centre of Aptech Yuva.Com will launch "100 per cent computer literacy mission" in the city in first week of May.

Addressing presspersons here on Friday, Mr M. Chandrashekhar, chief executive officer of Mangalore centre, said that the centre would seek the cooperation of members of Mangalore City Corporation to make this mission a success.

Under this mission, free computer education will be given to the students of scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes. This programme is recognised by the State Government, he said.

Apart from this, Yuva.Com is imparting free computer training to the physically-handicapped people, he added.
