HYDERABAD: The Commissioner of Civil Supplies, Mr Bhanwar Lal, in a statement has informed that the Civil Supplies Corporation has procured about two lakh tonnes of paddy and was making arrangements to distribute them through various outlets.

Denying rumours about the escalation of prices of rice, the corporation statement said that there was good rabi crop and this means there would be no difficulty in providing fine variety of rice across the State.
