Ghai heads for Cannes to promote Kisna

Mumbai , May 5

MR Subhash Ghai, Managing Director, Mukta Arts Ltd, is heading for Cannes next week to promote the company's next venture, Kisna, at the film festival.

Kisna, which has Indian and international actors, is a musical love story.

The film stars Vivek Oberoi, British Actress Antonio Bernath. Isha Shravani, a renowned dancer from Kerala is also in one of the lead roles.

The cast also includes Indian actors Hrishita Bhatt, Amrish Puri, Om Puri, and Rajat Kapur.

It is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and English to reach out the audience across the world.

It is set at several locations around India, including Ranikhet and Haridwar. Photographed by Ashok Mehta, cinematographer, the film has Samir Chanda as production designer and art director.

Mr Ghai will also be part of a special round table conference as a representative of India.

This conference will take place to discuss key topics of piracy and digital broadcasting, in Cannes, France.
