Havell's net higher, to pay 25% final

NEW DELHI: Havells's India Ltd has recorded a net profit of Rs 20.96 crore on a turnover of Rs 426.8 crore during fiscal 2003-04.

During the previous year, the company recorded a net profit of Rs 8.97 crore on a turnover of Rs 297.30 crore.

This translates into a 134 per cent rise in net profits and a 44 per cent rise in incomes. The board of Havell's declared a final dividend of 25 per cent, taking the annual dividend to 40 per cent. According to a release, the financial performance is on account of a 225 per cent growth in international business.
