HYDERABAD: Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd, has announced the launch of what it claims is the industry's first `application optimised storage' solutions, which combine business and application modules with high-performance Hitachi storage systems.

This combination enables customers to precisely match business application requirements to Hitachi storage system attributes.

Mr P.P. Subramanian, Country Manager India, Hitachi Data Systems, said in a statement: "With our application optimised storage solutions, customers can bridge the gap between business application needs and ability to precisely deliver service levels."
