Ministers meet on WTO farm pact

New Delhi , June 7

THE Union Commerce and Industry Minister, Mr Kamal Nath, on Monday held a detailed meeting with the Union Minister of Agriculture, Food and Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Mr Sharad Pawar, on the ongoing negotiating modalities on agriculture agreement at the World Trade Organisation .

The meeting held at Krishi Bhawan was to take stock of the ongoing negotiations on agriculture at the WTO and also to consider issues arising for India in the negotiations.
