THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Government has notified prices of the high yielding varieties of coconut saplings raised in the farms under the aegis of the Agriculture Department.

An official said here that the `West Coast Tall' would cost Rs 20, hybrid varieties Rs 25 and the `Orange Dwarf' and the `Malayan Yellow Dwarf' Rs 10 each. Saplings of mango, jack, fruit, cashew, sapota, guava, gooseberry, ginger, turmeric, vanilla, nutmeg, clove and pepper are also ready for distribution. Krishi Bhavans would take up their distribution across the State.
