HINDUJA TMT Ltd (HTMT) has announced that it has appointed Mr K. Thiagarajan as its Chief Operating Officer based in Mumbai.

Mr Thiagarajan's previous assignment was with Satyam Computer Services Ltd as Director and Senior Vice-President responsible for strategy, planning, M&A and marketing.

He will provide strategic direction to IT, the company's core business and the businesses of media and telecommunication handled by its subsidiaries for competitive performance, profit and growth, HTMT said in a news release.
