Bangalore , June 23

MAGIC Software Enterprises, an Israel-based IT company, has identified India as a growth market for its products that help enterprises in business integration .

Magic Software, which earned a revenue of $60 million last year, hopes India would provide a significant expansion to its future business.

The company, which already has its own subsidiary with a support system for product development at its Pune centre, plans to set up sales and marketing offices to promote its products — e-Developer and I-BOLT.

The company has focussed on Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi, besides strengthening its Pune centre, which now has a workforce of 80 people.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday on the company's plans in India, Mr Meir Koren, Regional Sales Manager (Asia and Pacific and Africa), said: "We are targeting the $300-million development tool market in India."

e-Developer helps to develop interactive Web and client/server applications.
