Our Bureau

Mumbai , June 25

THE film Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone helped Pogo to notch up good ratings. This film was the most watched English movie in the month of May across all channels.

The channel had carried out a promotional campaign addressing target groups. The key elements of the marketing plan included cross channel promotions; print advertising in all leading dailies, trade magazines as well in kid-specific publications; billboards and mobile vans across Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi. Plus, E-mail alerts were sent to all Toon HQ members of Cartoon Network Web site and relevant kid databases.

The campaign also included a viewer contest, where over 30,000 viewers competed for the grand prize - a trip to London. Other prizes included tickets to the third Harry Potter movie - Prisoner Of Azkaban, Harry Potter branded merchandise and posters.
