Bangalore Bio ropes in Ma Foi for career guidance

Bangalore , July 10

BANGALORE Bio, Asia's premier biotechnology conference opening here on Sunday, has enlisted the cooperation of human resources service provider Ma Foi, to give career guidance to students on opportunities in the biotechnology industry.

Centres under the banner `Bio-Careers' will be set up at the venue of the conference. The centres will extend guidance to students on the trends, developments and the various career options in biotechnology as well as the challenges faced by the sector. Ma Foi will also give an overview about the career path, compensation and benefits of being part of the sunrise industry.

Mr Shankaralinge Gowda, Secretary IT and Biotechnology, Karnataka said, "We are keen to make this year's Bangalore Bio a fruitful learning experience for the student community." He commended Ma Foi for its readiness to partner with the event.

Mr Aditya Naryan Mishra, Operations Head, Ma Foi (Karnataka), said Ernst & Young in its recent report has stated that India was expected to generate $5 billion in revenues and create more than one million jobs in the sector in the next five years.
