APSFC to aid Govt in rehabilitating sick industries

THE Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation (APSFC) has announced that it will join the Government's efforts to rehabilitate the sick industries in the State.

Addressing APSFC's 48th annual general meeting here on Wednesday, Mr M. Gopalakrishna, Chairman, said the Corporation would organise customer contact campaigns beginning this month at growth centres in all districts to give a boost to rural and agro-processing industries.

The corporation has set a target for sanctions to the tune of Rs 500 crore and disbursements worth Rs 350 crore for the financial year 2004-05. It aims to achieve recoveries to the tune of Rs 450 crore.
