Seminar on awareness for AP entrepreneurs

A PROGRAMME on `Entrepreneurs Awareness & Business Development Campaign,' taken up by the Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation (APSFC) will begin on July 26 here.

The objective of the seminar is to appraise prospective/potential/existing entrepreneurs about the scope and prospects of setting up industry and specific lines of business, according to a release from the Corporation.

The seminar will cover entrepreneurs and industrialists from the districts of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Adilabad, Nizamabad and Medak.

The Chairman and Managing Director of APSFC, Mr M. Gopalakrishna, as well as senior officers of the corporation will provide guidance and help in taking spot decisions. Representative of industries department, APIIC, APITCO, SISI, PCB etc., would also be present to offer advise and necessary help.

The Corporation is also hoping to get suggestions from entrepreneurs to formulate suitable schemes. Special Projects Screening Committee meetings are also scheduled to approve the viable and completed proposals for immediate sanction.

The APSFC also plans to explain the simplified systems and procedures followed, which are customer friendly and time-bound.

After the July 26 meeting, the Corporation plans to replicate it in Vijayawada (July 30), to cover Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Khammam districts, and at Visakhapatnam (August 2) to cover Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts.

In Rajamundry (Aug 9), Warangal (August 13) are slated thereafter, the release said.
