Samsung banks on cyber games

SAMSUNG India Electronics Ltd, has launched Cyber Olympics — The World of Cyber Games 2004 — that would enable the company reach out its products in the market place and ensure higher connect for PCs.

The Head of IT Division of Samsung, Mr Sonal Anand, said the company has entered into alliances with AMD, Sify, India Games, Channel V and Encompass among others to bring enriched gaming experience for PC users in the country. As more and more people take to PCs for infotainment, latest technology products would get popular.

The company has set up a facility for PC gamers here who can get to play these games which are both team-driven and individual. The games for contest include Warcraft, Counter Strike, Need for Speed Underground, Unreal Tournament 2004 and FIFA Football 2004.
