Ford India opens dealership facility at Tiruchi

FORD India has opened its dealership facility `Rockcity Ford' at Tiruchi .

The Managing Director and President, Ford India, Mr David Friedman, inaugurating the facility, said Rockcity Ford offered the best global practices and processes for superior customer service and enhanced user experience through its world class products and services to Ford customers in Tiruchi, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Villupuram, Perambalur, Pudukottai, Karur, Namakkal and Thiruvarur.

Plans are on to increase the number of dealer outletsfrom 90 in 71 cities (in 2003) to 105 in 86 cities by end of 2004, Mr Friedman said.

The facility, located about 2.5 km away from the Tiruchi Central bus stand over an area of 12,000 sq.ft. on the Dindigul main road with 12 workbays, offers the entire array of Ford products and services. The models include Ford Ikon Flair, Ford Ikon NXT and Ford Endeavour, said Mr Rajiv J. Subramaniam, Dealer Principal, Rockcity Ford.

Ford also announced the launch of `Car Gainz', an innovative customer loyalty programme, designed exclusively for Ford vehicle owners.

A 24- hours roadside assistance and Ford emergency help line were also announced. Ford India's national help line no. is +91 98415 00333.
