Bank staff demonstration in Coimbatore

COIMBATORE: Employees of different banks, including officers, staged a demonstration in front of Canara Bank (Account Section), on the Bank Road in Coimbatore on Thursday demanding early conclusion of wage revision for bank employees, following a call given by the United Forum of Bank Unions.

Bank employees have threatened to go on an all India strike on Aug 24 to press their demand.
