New Delhi , Aug. 6 THE Communications and IT Minister, Mr Dayanidhi Maran, on Friday launched a Web site of Reliance Industries Vice-Chairman and Managing Director and Rajya Sabha member, Mr Anil Ambani. The Web site according to Mr Ambani is aimed at forming a platform for anyone who wants to have an interface with him on important political and government issues. ``For too long, our polity has been divided between those who know and those who don't know. This Web site is a means towards bringing our legislative institutions closer to the people to help build a better informed India,'' Mr Ambani was quoted in an official press statement. Stating it as a technological initiative, Mr Maran said it will encourage new standards of transparency in public life. ``I hope more Parliamentarians will follow suit and become interactive citizens in the digital age that we live in,'' the Minister said after the launch. The Web site http://www.anildambaniforindia.com - will be in Hindi, English and Urdu languages. A 24-hour call centre would also work for an interactive message service.
