Acer division for SMBs

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: As part of its strategy to capture the market share in the growing small and medium business (SMB) and the small office home office (SOHO) segments, Acer India has established a new business division called the Volume Product Division (VPD).

The company has also launched two new desktop offerings, the Acer Power S200 and Acer Power S100, to cater completely to the unique requirements of customers in this segment. Mr S. Rajendran, General Manager - Sales and Marketing, Consumer Products Group, Acer India, said.

"We have been aggressively focussing on the enterprise and home segment, but there was a huge market comprising SOHO and SMB that we previously left untapped. With the new VPD we are now able to bridge the gap that existed more effectively."
