Coconut milk powder launched in Kerala

KOCHI: The Irinjalakkuda based KPL Oil Mills Pvt Ltd, one of the leaders in the edible oil market, has introduced its new product KPL Shudhi Coconut Milk Powder in the market to coincide with the Onam festival season.

The 100 gm packet, priced at Rs 42.50, will give the consumer the same amount of milk from seven average size coconuts. The company had launched the product after conducting test marketing in the State.

It has set a target of five tonne a month and also targeting the Gulf market.
