Matrix Labs promoter sells 1.48 pc holding

MATRIX Laboratories Ltd, the city-based pharmaceutical major, has informed the stock exchanges that its Executive Vice-President, Mr M. Ravinder, has sold 2.15 lakh shares, amounting to 1.48 per cent of voting rights of the company.

The mode of sale was `off-market' and the shareholding of Mr Ravinder now stands at 58,501 shares, amounting to 0.40 per cent of voting rights.

The company also said that its Chairman and CEO, Mr N. Prasad, has acquired 1.85 lakh shares, amounting to 1.27 per cent of voting rights on August 13 and sold a similar number of shares on August 16.

The mode of purchase/sale was `off-market'. His shareholding after the above transactions stood at 18,07,001 shares, amounting to 12.42 per cent of the share capital.

On August 16, India Newbridge acquired seven lakh shares amounting to 4.81 per cent of Matrix equity and consequently, its shareholding stood at 18.25 lakh shares, amounting to 12.54 per cent of voting rights.
