Roadways Kerala Minister's assurance on truckers stir Our Bureau
An official quoted him as saying that there was no shortage of any item in the State. The State Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco) godowns have adequate stocks of essential commodities for two months, over and above the demand projected for the Onam season. The Supplyco also has its own fleet of trucks. Alternative arrangements have been made to bring vegetables from neighbouring States. Meanwhile, the Director of Health Services has warned against adulteration and sale of lower than the specified quality of food items.
