Our Bureau

Bangalore , Aug. 23

WITH the ATM market set to grow at 30 per cent annually, Diebold Systems has come out with strategic approach of segmentised marketing to improve its market share.

Its experiment with the introduction of Island ATM and offering of mobile ATM has helped it attain a market share of 30 per cent already.

Diebold will also be launching its teller assist systems in India that help bank tellers to electronically dispense cash at branches. All that the teller has to do is to punch in the amount required and the teller assist system dispenses the cash — in five denominations — as well as issues transaction reports. This product will be targeted at rural markets as well as corporates, said Mr Rajiv Singh, Managing Director of Diebold Systems India Pvt Ltd.
