ICFAI, SEBI meet on investor protection

AIMED at helping the regulators, policymakers and market intermediaries to collectively address issues pertaining to the investors' protection in the emerging economies, the ICFAI University is holding a three-day international conference in alliance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In a press release here on Wednesday, the ICFAI University said the conference aims at bringing together intermediaries and academicians interested in the field of securities market along with regulators by providing a forum for disseminating new practices, mechanisms, research findings and techniques.

The ICFAI University said experts were being invited from the area of securities market from the developed and emerging economies.

Around 600 delegates were expected to participate in the three-day conference from January 10 to 12 at Mumbai.
