HYDERABAD: The Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajsekhara Reddy, has asked the officials of the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad to start implementing the Rs 85-crore traffic master plan (TMP) involving construction of five new flyovers to ease the growing traffic congestion in the city.

A Government Order was also issued enabling MCH to take up work immediately following the Chief Minister's instructions, according to an official press release.

As per the TMP, flyovers would be constructed at Punjagutta cross roads, RTC cross roads, Nalgonda cross roads, Chandrayanagutta and at Greenlands junction. The Chief Minister wanted the flyovers to be completed by July 2005.
