Birla Sun Life first premium up 241 pc

BIRLA Sun Life Insurance Company's new business premium has recorded a 241 per cent growth on a year-on-year basis to Rs 138 crore till July.

Most of the growth is backed by the sale of unit-linked plans, said a press release.

The premium revenue during this period stood at Rs 180 crore. BSLI has covered around 6,00,000 lives since inception and the total sum assured crossed Rs 13,600 crore.
