Concerto buys Rockwell unit

CONTACT centre solution company Concerto Software on Wednesday announced that it has acquired Rockwell FirstPoint Contact from Rockwell Automation, Inc. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"With this transaction, Concerto Software significantly expands its geographic reach, intellectual capital and positions itself to deliver increased value to customers.

This is Concerto Software's fourth acquisition in the year 2004 after Melita International, CenterForce Technology and Positive Software Systems," a company release said here.

Concerto Software holds 66.7 per cent of the market share for outbound contact centre systems in India.
