Lupin files new drug application

MUMBAI: The Mumbai-based Lupin Ltd said on Friday that it has filed an Investigational New Drug Application (INDA) with the Drug Controller General, India, for the treatment of Psoriasis, a serious skin-related problem.

This potential new drug candidate, LL-4218, is called Desoside-P, the company told the BSE. The market size of the drugs for treating psoriasis is estimated to be over $4 billion.
