CPCRI workshop on arecanut at Vittal

MANGALORE: The regional station of the Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI), which is situated at Vittal in Dakshina Kannada district, will hold a two-day national workshop on `arecanut' from October 11.

A CPCRI press release said here on Wednesday that the workshop would discuss the aspects and prospects of arecanut production. Scientists from various research institutes, officials from development and marketing organisations, and members of arecanut growers' associations are expected to participate in the workshop. Those interested could send their details to the Head, CPCRI, Regional Station, Vittal, by October 5, the release added.
