Platinum Assets ups Ramco Systems stake

Chennai , Sept. 23

RAMCO Systems on Thursday said that Platinum Asset Management Ltd (as trustee for the Platinum Asset Management Trust) has acquired 83,413 shares (or 0.72 per cent of Ramco's paid-up capital) through market purchase on September 21 this year.

After this acquisition, the above entity's shareholding in Ramco is 5,88,321 or 5.06 per cent of its paid-up capital while Platinum Asia Fund holds 4,68,812 shares or 4.04 per cent.

In the disclosure on shareholding pattern as on June 30, t Ramco had indicated that Platinum Asia Fund held 3.32 per cent of the company's capital.
