Hyderabad , Sept. 25

IMEDX, a US-based healthcare services company, is planning to set up three specialised hubs for its medical transcription business in Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi in 2005.

The company would spend $2 million for funding the quality assurance hubs, Mr Venkat Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, said. Currently, iMedX has centres in Pune and Hyderabad. "We will open centres with small teams in major cities," said Mr Sharma, who also heads iMedX's parent company Life Science Computing.

Addressing a press conference, he said iMedX offered integrated solutions in medical transcription, intelligent medical records and practice management.
