Normal business at RBI offices

Our Bureau

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday said in a release that its offices in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai would conduct normal business on Thursday.

However, on account of half-yearly closing of bank accounts on that day, commercial banks and co-operative banks would remain closed for the public. No clearing operations will be conducted on that day at Brihanmumbai Bankers' Clearing House, National Clearing Centres at Nariman Point and Bandra Kurla Complex and SBI MiCR Cheque Processing Centre, Worli.

The MICR cheques presented on September 29 will be settled on Friday.
