T-Bills auction on Wednesday

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India will auction 91-day Government of India treasury bills for a notified amount of Rs 2,000 crore on Wednesday. Of this amount, Rs 1,500 crore would form part of the Market Stabilisation Scheme (MSS) and Rs 500 crore will be auctioned under the regular auction calendar.

The auction will be conducted using `multiple price auction' method. The results will be announced on Wednesday, whereas payment by successful bidders will be on Friday.
