VoiceGate ties up with BSNL

HYDERABAD: VoiceGate Technologies, in association with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, would provide the service of Moon sighting announcement during the holy month of Ramzan.

This is the first time in India that this type of service is being provided. VoiceGate has tied up with Ruwait Hilal Committee and the Majlis-e-Uluma-e-Deccan, Hyderabad, to obtain information on Moonsighting to mark the beginning of Ramzan. The same arrangement is to mark the end of Ramzan to celebrate Id-Ul-Fitr.

The 60-second pulse rate-based service would also enable callers to get information on daily schedule of beginning (Sahr) and end of fasting timings (Iftaar). Callers from twin cities can call on 22222222 to get the required information, while callers from outside twin cities and within Andhra Pradesh would have to dial 954022222222 for the same service.
