Coimbatore , Oct. 15

AGGRIEVED depositors can expect some respite when the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the State Police convenes the `depositors day'.

The EOW incidentally, is contemplating a session every Saturday at the EOW headquarters in Chennai to listen to the grievance of aggrieved depositors.

The Additional Director-General of Police (EOW), Mr P. Thangarajan, said the initiative aimed at mitigating the sufferings of investors.

The ADGP was in the city to inaugurate a two-day training programme on `Investigating Economic Offences.' He told presspersons that a team of officials would visit the 13 district units of the EOW to conduct such grievance meetings at least once in three months. Public awareness camps to educate and caution investors were on the agenda.
