Symphony buys In-Reality Soft

THE US-headquartered Symphony Services Corporation has announced that it has acquired the Pune-based In-Reality Software Pvt Ltd and plans to invest $15 million on its expansion.

Without revealing details of the deal, Mr Gordon Brooks, President and CEO, Symphony Services, said a substantial part of the deal "is balanced in favour of stock and subject to certain closing conditions. We will close the deal during the fourth quarter of 2004."

According to Mr Brooks, the Pune facility will expand to 1,000 people by the end of next year with $15-million being ploughed into ramping up infrastructure and manpower.
