The exchange recorded a demat delivery of seven commodities for acontract that expired on Wednesday.

The commodities were castor seed, guar gum, guar seed, pepper, silver, urad and wheat, an exchange release said.

The delivery of castor seeds has been highest with a total of 5,280 tonnes delivered in five of NCDEX's accredited warehouses in Gujarat.

Delivery of guar gum, pepper, urad and silver are 490 tonne, 125 tonne, 90 tonne and 60 kg respectively.

Deliveries in guar gum, guar seed, silver and pepper have been taking place almost every month on the Exchange and NCDEX hopes to maintain that pace in the future.
