BANGALORE: Melbourne-based Senko Advanced Components Australia P/L has announced a deal with TVS Interconnect with its fibre to the home (FTTH) product. The FTTH product — developed by the Rowville based Senko — has already been exported to Japan and the United States.

The Senko Managing Director, Mr Frank Jaffer, said the deal with TVS was a significant opportunity for the company. "India has 1.3 billion population, and projections for the growth of broadband capability are phenomenal," he said.

The announcement came at the BangaloreIT.com 2004, where Senko is part of a 36-company strong Victorian ICT delegation.
