Retailing Hunky Dory plans one more outlet in Chennai Our Bureau

Chennai , Nov. 18 HUNKY Dory, a store that caters for kids below 14, plans to open one more outlet in the city by the end of 2005. This would be followed by stores in Coimbatore and Bangalore. The first store is located in Kilpauk and covers 6,000 sq ft of basement and ground floor space. There are plans to open the first floor for ladies and gents wear and accessories in a few months time. P.R.B. Bafna Group, wholesalers for mills such as Arvind, Century, Aavali and Morarjee Mills, has promoted this venture. Mr Bickam Chand Bafna, Chairman, Bafna Group, said that in the last 10 years the customer preference has been towards readymade garments so the group decided to get into this line.
