IOB conducts Lok Adalat

MADURAI: A sum of Rs 17.37 lakh was settled against a demand of Rs 21.89 lakh at the Lok Adalat conducted by the Indian Overseas Bank in association with the District Legal Aid Authority at Peramablur.

An amount of Rs 1.65 lakh in respect of 46 accounts was collected on the spot. The total demand for settlement at the Adalat was for Rs 54 lakh in respect of 186 non-agricultural borrowers, the sources said.
