THE sixth consecutive Asian Venture Forum/India will be held this year in Mumbai from December 6 to 8.

"The topics covered in the conference will highlight increasing interest from venture capitalists in consumer goods, micro finance, infrastructure and real estate, bio-technology and pharmaceuticals, said Mr Ajay Kapur, CEO, SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd, speaking at a press conference organised to announce the details of the event.

The event will form an idea exchange and networking opportunities for nearly 150 delegates comprising institutional investors, local and international private equity investors and other financial and legal specialists.

The Asian Venture Forum/India, being organised by The Asian Venture Capital Journal (AVCJ) and The Indian Venture Capital Association (IVCA), has its theme as `Global perspective - local opportunities'.
