THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Government of Kerala has introduced a classification system for restaurants in the State, says an official press release.

Restaurants will be awarded stars based on their compliance with guidelines specified by the Department of Tourism. Further details about this scheme can be obtained from the Directorate of Tourism in Thiruvananthapuram or the Tourism Department's regional offices in Kochi and Kozhikode, the release adds.
