Hyderabad , Dec.27

ZEBOO Corporation, a venture financed development stage company focusing on mobile entertainment , has announced plans to establish a mobile game studio in Hyderabad.

It will be launched in the first quarter of 2005.

New-York based Zeboo also announced a mobile game developers contest to identify developers and domestic studios for strategic partnerships.

The Vice-President of development, Mr V. Krishna Polineni, in a statement said, "As mobile phone capacities accelerate in terms of chip speeds and memory, the promise of truly mobile entertainment becomes more viable."

Contestants, both individual and team, can build on established game concepts or build new games from scratch. All games must be built with Sun's Java 2 Mobile Edition [J2ME]. The contest is open only to developers based in India.
