South Indian Bank opens Jaipur branch

THE Thrissur-based South Indian Bank has opened its 421st branch at Jaipur, Rajasthan. This is also the bank's 226th branch offering `Anywhere Banking Facility' to its customers.

The Chairman, Mr A. Sethumadhavan, said that the bank, which had a regional presence in the past, has now got a national presence with a network of branches in 16 States.

The bank would be also be opening new branches at Noida, Amritsar and at Mayur Vihar in Delhi during this fiscal itself.

A new ATM facility was also opened.. The branch has provided locker facilities for its customers, a release said.
