Santi Arts launches online print sales

SANTI Arts Hi-Tech Medias Ltd, the Guntur-headquartered print and design company, has launched online sales, e-greeting paintings and is carving out a niche in producing `affordable art prints'.

Using its advanced printing technologies, the 44-year-old company is producing reprints of ancient and contemporary master paintings. These in turn are being offered to consumers, especially art lovers at prices ranging from Rs 95 to Rs 895.

Speaking at the launch of a new art print on glass in `ready-to-display' series, Mr Sidharth Jain, Director (Marketing), said corporates such as Torrent Pharma, Ahmedabad, Bharat Biotech, Hyderabad, and IJM Infrastructure, here are major clients.

"Our products are targeted to middle-class families, with low-budget for interior decorations, but interested in art", he said.

The Jnanpith award winner and noted Telugu poet, Dr C. Narayana Reddy, launched a new art print on glass "ready-to-display series" titled `Flowers at Window', on the event of Sankranthi festival.

Dr Reddy said what Santi Arts is doing is a good example of how technology can really help in promoting art. They are using printing technology efficiently to convert reprints to look as good as originals.

The Andhra Pradesh State Archaeology and Museums Department has asked the company to reproduce a whole range of ancient and contemporary art pieces.

Twenty paintings have been completed in phase one, which itself is a first of its kind, Mr Jain said, adding that for thsese works, Santi Arts bagged national and international awards.
